Carlsbad TGIF Jazz in the park at Poinsettia park.  The band is a blues band called Mofo Party Band the concert runs from 6-8, bring a picnic basket, blanket and low back chairs to this event.  This is a free event for or more information click here.

Point Loma Summer Concert, The Mar Dels are playing at Point Loma Park.  The Blonde Brother’s band is on the junior stage from 5:30-6:30.  The event starts at 5:30 and runs until 8 and is a free event, for more information click here.

Saturday, July 30

San Diego Surf Cup Soccer Tournament at the Del Mar Polo Fields.  Want to see the next US National soccer team?  Come out to the Surf Cup to see the best youth soccer players in the nation!   This weekend is the older kids from ages 15-18 and tons of college coaches will be out scouting.  There is more than soccer at this event, tons of vendors, games and the food is amazing!  This is a free event (there is a charge for parking) for more information click here.

Mercury Insurance Open at The La Costa Resort and Spa, this tennis event starts on July 30 and runs through August 7.  The cost for tickets is $10-60 depending on how close you want to be to the action.  For more information click here.

Del Mar Racetrack at the Del Mar Fair Grounds Admission is FREE to children 17 and under and you can purchase an adult ticket as low as $6. Sunday in the infield is a Family Fun Day.  It is very similar to the Del Mar Fair with fun stuff like inflatable games and rides, giant scramble slide & obstacle course, pony rides,  magic shows & GameZone, stilt walkers, face painters, caricature artist,  & more the kids have so much fun!  For more information click here.

Doggie Street Festival at the Hilton San Diego Bay Front Park, entertainment, good eats, products, services, speakers, music, special guests and much more!  The event is from 9 am to 4pm and is a free event, for more information click here.
