The Carlsbad Music Festival is held Friday through Sunday in the Village.  This is the 8th year for the festival and Friday evening starts it off with the fun, and free Village Music Walk.  Saturday and Sunday the concerts are $15 or you may purchase the Festival Pass for $60 which allows you to enjoy all the concerts.  For more information visit the event website here.

Leo Carrillo Film Festival, at Leo Carrillo Park in Carlsbad.  Bring a picnic dinner, low back chairs, blankets and enjoy this great movie from the 1930′s.  This is the last event in this movie series the movie playing tonight is Frontier Badmen.  The grounds open at 5 and the movie starts promptly at sunset, for more information click here.

Saturday, September 24

Oceanside Harbor Days, this fun-filled event is Saturday and Sunday.  With tons of activities for kids and adults we love this family event!  Stop by on Saturday and see the Karate Kids, or the Poly Dance team perform, you will also not want to miss any one of the 6 bands playing both Saturday and Sunday.  This is a free event, visit the event website for more information.  

Sunday, September 24

The Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon Del Mar, this even was scheduled a couple of weeks ago but had to be postponed.  This is a fun event for pet lovers!  The dog and owner will participate in 20 minute heats based on the dogs weight class.  The dogs will be judged on their ability to ride the wave, and staying on their boards.  For more information visit the event website here.
