Summer Movies in the Park @ Ocean Beach – This week  is Hotel for Dogs  at Dusty Rhodes Park

TGIF Concerts in the Park @ Poinsettia Park in Carlsbad –  The concerts begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.  See the full list below for locations, dates and shows.  This week Madame Le Roux & Krewe plus Euphoria Brass Band will be playing, for more information click here.    Park of why I love this event is that you can pack snacks and wine to enjoy during the concert. The concerts are totally free not even a charge for parking.  I would recommend getting there as early as you can because parking does become an issue. Remember that everyone wants to see the performers, so plan to bring LOW-BACKED chairs only. Shade structures are not allowed except along the back fences of the parks.

Summer in the Park Concert Series @ University Heights located at Trolley Barn Park, Adams Avenue and Florida Street.  Fridays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  This week Sue Palmer & Her Motel Swing Orchestra will be playing, for more information click here.

Summer Concerts @ Point Loma – The Point Loma summer concerts are from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Point Loma Park located at 1049 Catalina Blvd.  This week The Navy Band will perform, for more information click here.

Concerts on the Promenade @ Prestcott Promenade in El Cajon – The Concerts on the Promenade (formerly Concerts on the Green) take place at Prescott Promenade, a small park in downtown El Cajon.  Each Friday beginning at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. from May through September. San Diego Surf Cup Soccer Tournament @ Del Mar Polo Fields – Come out to see the best of the best play at this year’s San Diego Surf Cup.  Teams come from around the world to participate in one of the best soccer tournaments in the US.  The next US National Team will be these players in a few years.  Every college scout will also be at this event to see the amazing talent.  The event is free there is however a charge for parking.  Saturday and Sunday will be regular play and Monday the finals will be held.  For more information click here.
Concert Series @ Coronado Ferry Landing – Saturday and Sundays throughout the summer enjoy free concerts at the Coronado Ferry Landing beginning at 2 p.m.  Saturday Blue Frog Band will perform and Sunday the Stilettos will play.  For more information click here.

Summer Concerts by the Sea @ Encinitas –  Every other Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Moonlight Beach there will be a free summer concert.  Remember that glass, alcohol, smoking and dogs are prohibited on Moonlight beach.  This week Dead Feather Moon will play, for more information click here.

Coronado Concerts in the Park @ Spreckles Park – Every Sunday at Spreckles park located at Orange Avenue, between Sixth and Seventh Streets at 6 p.m. enjoy free family concerts.  This week the Liquid Blue will perform, for more information click here.
