Thursday, December 8

Holiday Open House @ West Inn & Suites, Carlsbad 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm –  My husband and I love Bistro West and West Steak & Seafood.  The food really is to die for, and this event will have seasonal treats and spirits created by Chef Eugenio Martignago available for tastings.  This is the 5th annual holiday open house and will feature Santa, Mrs. Clause and their elves.  There will also be carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, crafts and a photo-op with Santa himself!  It is asked that you please bring an unwrapped toy to for the Toys for Tots Drive.

SD Mom’s Night Out @ Blended Industries, La Jolla – This event is not kid friendly, however I am still going and planning on having so much fun!  Join other local like-minded moms tonight for a little me time.  Enjoy wine from wine maker Jesse Kovacs, he is also a reality star from The Bachelorette Season 5/ Bachelor Pad Season 1. There will be delectable artisan meats, breads and cheeses, and let’s not forget the chocolates and cakes!  For more information on this fun event visit their website here.

SD Mom’s Night Out… Yes Please!!!

It seems like sometimes (okay most times) the word mother and wife come before me time.  Me time?  What is that?  Something I somewhat remember fondly from my 2o’s.  Having me time is not a bad thing, it actually makes us better moms and wives.  Which is why I was so excited to hear about SD Mom’s Night Out!  They plan fun events and all you have to do is show up and have a night off with your girlfriends.  Do you like wine?  What about cheese?  Did I mention the decadent chocolates and cakes?  Please join me and other local moms this Thursday at Blended Industries on Prospect in La Jolla.  Bring a unwraped toy for the toy drive and you will be entered to win some fabulous prizes!  For more information on SD Mom’s Night out visit their website here.  Hope to see you and some of your girlfriends on Thursday!
