Red, White & Boom @ Legoland California

Red, White and Boom at Legoland California is a family tradition in our house! Legoland has a full day full of games, contests, dance parties, with the day coming to an end at 8:30 p.m. with the fireworks show. Legoland does July 4th perfect for kids! You will not want to miss the Fireworks set to a patriotic musical tribute beginning at 8:30 p.m. with great viewing in designated locations throughout the Park. Throughout the day, kids of all ages can enjoy live musical performances and participate in all-American family picnic games, like water-balloon tosses, burlap sack races, family build challenge and LEGO Hamburger relay.

The celebration lasts from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and fireworks at 8:30 p.m. All Red, White and BOOM! activities are included in the cost of admission to Legoland California.

Don’t miss Fireworks set to a patriotic musical tribute with great viewing in designated locations throughout the Park. Throughout the day, kids of all ages can enjoy performances, meet their favorite LEGO® Friends and Characters, and participate in all-American family picnic games, like water-balloon tosses, burlap sack races, the Family Build Challenge and LEGO Hamburger relay.

The celebration lasts from 1:00pm to 9:00pm with fireworks at 8:30pm. All Red, White and BOOM! activities are included in the cost of admission to LEGOLAND California.

Summer Movie Express Starting June 19, 2018

Regal & Edwards have released the schedule for the Summer Movie Express for the Summer of 2018! The movies are all rated G/PG, and are great for kids of all ages. It is only $1 per person to attend! All of the movies begin at 10 AM on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays throughout the summer.  Every week there are two different movies playing for you to choose from. The start date for movie theaters vary so I have listed the start dates below the list of movies. If you live outside of California please click here for a full list. Tickets available for purchase at the box office and all movies in most locations start at 10:00 am. Check with your theatre for exact showtimes. Each week both movies play on both days. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Will Rogers Institute.

Calico Critters new nursery collection is here

They toys I played with when I was a child are back and better than ever! EPOCH Co.is celebrating its 60th Anniversary with a new collection of Calico Critters. Also from EPOCH are Aquabeads, which never last too long in my house because the kids can’t wait to make an new creation. They can make their own design or use the templates in the layout trays. All children have to do is spray with water, wait a little bit and the beads are together forever. Right now kids can craft their favorite Calico Critter characters and bring their artwork to life as they place and fuse the beads to follow the template. The creations can then be placed onto the bead stands for display.  This set includes more than 600 jewels & solid beads, template sheet, layout tray, sprayer and instructions to add to the creations.
