SeaWorld kids go and play FREE October 1st to October 31st 2018.

For the entire month October, children can receive a FREE single-day admission, FREE animal interaction and a FREE Dine With Shamu® experience. At SeaWorld® San Diego, connect with the sea and go on exhilarating rides and amazing adventures. Sore, dive and twist like a ray on our Manta® coaster, get up-close and personal with dolphins, immersed in our interactive Turtle Reef attraction, and be inspired by our biggest star, Shamu®. Or at Aquatica San Diego come experience a tropical oasis where you can splash down waterslides from serene to extreme, drift alongside flamingos or relax in private cabanas. With the purchase of each full-paid adult single-day admission at either park, you will receive one free child single-day admission.

Kids Free to San Diego Zoo

Throughout the month of October, kids ages 11 and younger receive free admission (with an adult). They have got a lot of special fun planned for the weekends, so go wild and join in over and over again! Kids Free admission in October 2018 includes the Skyfari Tram Ride – no separate ticket needed! Standard child rider policies apply. Kids can ride the Guided Bus or Kangaroo Bus for $5.

    Times: 5 to 8 p.m. on October 26, 27, and 28

    Join us for a colorfully creepy celebration October 26 through 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. The Zoo will be all aglow with activities and entertainment: a DJ spinning spooktacular tunes for everyone to dance to among bursts of bubbles, acrobats, jugglers, a cupcake walk, and more. Kids are free for this event, and may wear costumes according to the guidelines posted on the HalGLOWeen website.

Coaster Holiday Express 2018

Families can take a ride on a magical holiday train with Santa, Mrs. Claus and friends on Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th. North County Transit District’s Coaster Holiday Express is a specially decorated train ride that features photo opportunities with Santa and classic carol singing for children of all ages. Each 65-minute Holiday COASTER Express ride travels non-stop and roundtrip from Oceanside to Solana Beach. The ride is recommended for families with children between the ages of 3 and 10. Be sure to bring your camera for tons of photo opportunities throughout the train ride.

We have had so much fun taking kiddos on the Coaster Holiday Express, see picture above. It is only $14 per person this year with departure times of 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. from the Oceanside transit center. * Do not bring food, beverages, strollers, or bicycles on board the train.  Water & small snacks okay.

* Total trip time is approximately 65 minutes

* The trains depart ON TIME. As this event is usually sold out, we will not be able to accommodate late arrivals. Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before your departure to find parking.

* The Holiday Express will operate rain or shine.

Kids Free October 40 Museums in San Diego

The San Diego Museum Council is bringing back by popular demand an amazing program for families. Based on its huge success in the first five years, Kids Free in October, is back for a sixth year. Inviting families to enjoy free kids’ admission to more than 40 museums across San Diego County with an adult ticket purchase.

The breakdown:

  • The coupon allows up to TWO CHILDREN 12 and UNDER to get in FREE with one paid adult.
  • The ticket does not apply to special events, special exhibits or field trips.
  • Can not combine with any other promo/discount/coupon/offer.
  • Valid during the month of October only 10/1/18 – 10/31/18.
  • You must provide the PRINTED the coupon, which may be found below.

Summer Movie Express Starting June 19, 2018

Regal & Edwards have released the schedule for the Summer Movie Express for the Summer of 2018! The movies are all rated G/PG, and are great for kids of all ages. It is only $1 per person to attend! All of the movies begin at 10 AM on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays throughout the summer.  Every week there are two different movies playing for you to choose from. The start date for movie theaters vary so I have listed the start dates below the list of movies. If you live outside of California please click here for a full list. Tickets available for purchase at the box office and all movies in most locations start at 10:00 am. Check with your theatre for exact showtimes. Each week both movies play on both days. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Will Rogers Institute.
