The Cinépolis Summer Kids Series is back and for the first time ever, debuting at all Cinépolis Luxury Cinema locations. Occurring every Tuesday at 10am, now through August 14, guests can enjoy $1 movie tickets at Cinépolis USA theaters and $3 movie tickets at Cinépolis Luxury Cinema theaters for special screenings of their favorite animated movie. All summer movies are suited for the entire family, with a G or PG rating. Groups and events are available at participating locations with 48 hrs notice. A full list of movies and dates below:

Calico Critters new nursery collection is here

They toys I played with when I was a child are back and better than ever! EPOCH Co.is celebrating its 60th Anniversary with a new collection of Calico Critters. The globally popular series, first introduced in 1985, features beautiful, richly detailed animal figures that live like humans with a focus on “Nature, Family and Love.”

The big hit of the collection is going to be the ‘Blind Bags’ it brings the element of surprise to every boy or girl who opens it. With the Blind Bags it is unknown which little critter will be inside their bag until they open it. Kids go crazy over it! There are new collectable babies including: Shiloh Yellow Labrador on xylophone, Daisy Maple Cat playing the Trumpet, Jason Cuddle Bear with cymbals, Henry Sweetpea Rabbit on the drums, Milo Toy Poodle with accordion, Grace Hopscotch Rabbit playing the violin, Joseph Tuxedo Cat on the piano, and last but not least, Luke Hazelnut Chipmunk playing the tambourine.

There are playsets with the new nursery line including a Baby Tree House, Baby Castle Playground and a Baby Choo-Choo Train. The tree house includes table, chairs & steps along with Hazelnut Chipmunk baby Luke who is ready to play.

Also from EPOCH are Aquabeads, which never last too long in my house because the kids can’t wait to make an new creation. They can make their own design or use the templates in the layout trays. All children have to do is spray with water, wait a little bit and the beads are together forever. Right now kids can craft their favorite Calico Critter characters and bring their artwork to life as they place and fuse the beads to follow the template. The creations can then be placed onto the bead stands for display.  This set includes more than 600 jewels & solid beads, template sheet, layout tray, sprayer and instructions to add to the creations. Spring Break Fun with Juicy Juice!

Spring break is upon us and who isn’t looking for this to keep kids busy during their week or weeks off from school. Juicy Juice has a full list of fun crafts and activities to do with your kids during the break. A lot of the crafts can be up-cycled from Juicy Juice bottle tops, or juice boxes. Above is some Bottle Cap Ladybugs which are so cute and fun to make. Easy to make only needing the bottle cap, paint, and eyes.
