TGIF Jazz in the Park, Carlsbad Calavera Hills park @ 2997 Glasgow Drive 92010 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Playing is Big Sam’s Funky Nation a New Orleans funk band. Bring your picnic basket (you may bring achololic drinks if you wish) low back chairs, blankets and get ready for a fun night! Weezer at the Del Mar Race Track, if you are already planning on going to the track this Saturday stay after for a great concert! Vista BBQ compition and Street Fair. There are 45 teams cooking up the best BBQ they can for a chance to win $7,500! Tastings being at noon and go until 4 p.m., tickets for tastings are only $3.
