Coaster & AAA FREE on New Year’s Eve

Planning on going out on New Year’s Eve? Plan on drinking? Easy way to avoid driving after a few drinks is by riding the Coaster, Sprinter, Trolley, or Breeze for FREE. After 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve all of North County Transit will be free. The hours have been extended as well, if you need to leave downtown the latest train north will depart at 12:45 a.m. If you plan to use this great free offer visit the North County Transit website here for a full list of times.
Another great option is the Automobile Club of Southern California or AAA, offering a FREE Tipsy Tow service during New Year’s Eve. This service is available from 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, to 6 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1. If you need a tow call 1.800.400.4AAA and ask for a Tipsy Tow. This service is great because it offers a free ride home for you and a tow for your car. The tow is free for up to seven miles after that the regular tow rates apply. This service is a great way to keep tipsy drivers off the road. Please note this service will take you to your residence only and is available for drivers only, no passengers.
