The Flower Fields in Carlsbad – Finally the flower fields in Carlsbad are open for the season! There is so much more to do than just look at the beautiful flowers here! There are tractor wagon rides, a sweet pea maze, santa’s playground, and the Carlsbad mining company. The cost for admission is $11 for adults and $6 for children, children 2 and under are free. If you plan on visiting the Flower Fields more than once this season I would suggest a season pass for only $22, if you go twice you will pay the same amount why not buy an unlimited pass? Spring Home & Garden Show – Need some fresh ideas for decorating your home? This is the place for you! The Spring Home & Garden Show is at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Friday 3/2 through Sunday 3/4. Kids Workshop @ Home Depot – Fun & free hands-on workshops that are designed for children ages 5 – 12 at all The Home Depot stores between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This Saturday the project is Build a #20 Race Car, the kids will learn how to make it while learning tool saftey.
