Summer Events for kids in Carlsbad

Alga Norte Aquatic Center has fun for the whole family this summer with some fun events put on by the City of Carlsbad. The first is Splash into Summer on June 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. You may enjoy two hours of fun with pool activities, floating obstacles and giant water balls. Also take some time to learn about all of the aquatic programs for the summer and finish the night with a fun movie in the pool.
Float n’ Flick is another great family night on June 27th and on August 22nd from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. You may enjoy a movie under the stars while floating in the warm-water pool. Rings and tubes will be available for purchase.
Splash Bash (aka Parents Night Out) July 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Kids can try their hand on one of three floating obstacles, play in the giant water balls, or try their best cannonballs from one of the diving boards. The event is an ideal “babysitter” so us parents can enjoy a night out while kids are entertained.
The cost is $8 per person, children 3 and younger are free with adult. Food and drinks are available for purchase, no outside food or drinks are permitted. For more information see the City of Carlsbad website here.
