Cute, Easy and Fun DIY Easter Treats

by

We love to make treats to give out in my son’s class for pretty much any holiday, and I wanted to share this super cute idea I found for Easter treats.  It is a little play on s’mores, use two graham crackers, 1 tiny chocolate bar, and a marshmallow peep, wrap them up in plastic and you are done.  To make it even more cute write a note from your child and include it inside.  Enjoy!  For another fun Easter treat idea click here.

Bridal Shower Ideas

by

As most of you already know I love hosting parties, I’m already planning my son’s summer birthday party!  Because I only have a little boy I love to throw showers bridal or baby where I can use as much pink as I want.  Like almost everyone else I try to do everything on a budget, for tips on some of the ways I was able to save see below.  The pictures are from a bridal shower I hosted for one of my best friends Renee’.

I purchased the puffs from Michael’s they are from the Martha Stewart wedding collection.  There are 6 in a package and it was around $20, only $10 after my 50% off Michael’s coupon.  The tulle was left over from a craft I had done months before.

On the back of the chairs I used oriental lanterns tied with pink tulle, I purchased these from Party City for $6.99.  The white wedding bells I purchased from the dollar store, each package had 6 inside.

The above picture is of my beautiful friend Renee’ and her beautiful mother, we had such a great time at her bridal shower.  I just need to wait for another friend to get married so I can throw another bridal shower!
