2 for 1 Coaster Tickets this Weekend @ Fiesta Del Sol

by

This weekend with Fiesta Del Sol going on in Solana Beach the Coaster is offering two for one tickets.  Buy one ticket, present the single ticket to fare enforcement officers while riding the bus or train and the officer will accept the ticket for two people.  Don’t get stuck in traffic, or spend time looking for a parking space, just take the Coaster.  We are going to Fiesta Del Sol tonight to see The English Beat and will be taking the Coaster from Encinitas.  Have fun and I hope to see you there!

Carlsbad TGIF Jazz in the Parks Schedule

by

Summer is coming!  It is almost here and with it brings tons of free concerts!  Last year we had a lot of fun going to the Carlsbad Jazz in the Park concerts.  I love that you can pack snacks and wine to enjoy during the concert. The concerts are totally free not even a charge for parking.  I would recommend getting there as early as you can because parking does become an issue. Remember that everyone wants to see the performers, so plan to bring LOW-BACKED chairs only. Shade structures are not allowed except along the back fences of the parks.

There is fun for the kids too!  At the second concert in each park, Art At Jazz offers hands-on visual arts activities for younger TGIF Jazz audience members.   All supplies are provided by the Carlsbad Friends of the Arts, it is held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

There are three different parks the concerts are held at between the end of June and the end of August. The concerts begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.  See the full list below for locations, dates and shows.  For more information click here.
