Chooze Shoes as seen on Fox 5

CHOOZE Shoes were started by a family because their daughter refused to wear the same shoes. Everyday she without fail grab two different shoes and put them on. My Godson is 2 1/2 and I choose to get him the Scout in Rock, I also got a matching pair for his new baby brother. Evan my nice is 7 and I told her she could pick out any shoes she wanted, I didn’t know what she would pick with the large array of different types of shoes and different styles. When Molly (her stepmom) called to tell me what she picked I loved it! I said she picked the Punky Brewster shoes! Crying over spilled a2 Milk!

In our house we have three different types of milk, that is not a joke. My son drinks organic whole milk, I drink almond milk and my husband drinks coconut milk. Carlsbad EGGstravaganza 2016

Carlsbad @ Poinsettia Park – Saturday, March 28th, the annual EGGStravaganza Spring Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Poinsettia Park. Please note this is not a free event, the cost is $6 for the Activity card. Which allows you to participate in what is called the “Egg Scramble,” plus tons of fun things for the kids to do in the Fun Zone with bounce houses, a giant slide, obstacle courses and a chance to “soak the bunny.” The kids will collect eggs in the ongoing “Egg Scramble” activity between 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children race to collect assorted eggs on the baseball fields. This activity sends groups of approximately 20 – 30 kids will be sent out to collect all the eggs on the field until they are gone. The group will exit the field and the field will be reset for the next group. Parents are welcome to join their kids on the field for great photo opportunities. There is a competitive field for kids 6 and older and also one for 5 and under. There is also a uncompetitive field for young children, children with special needs, and for families wanting to pose for a photo-op.

There will also be sampling from the Parks & Recreation Summer Camps program. Instructors will be on site to perform demonstrations and answer questions about their programs.

Activity card must be purchased for $6 to participate in “egg scramble,” crafts, fun zone or bunny balloon soak.Unlimited fun zone wristbands are also available for $6.

Carlsbad’s largest egg hunt features the Egg Scramble activity where kids race to collect candy-filled eggs among several other fun activities, including face painting, crafts, soak the bunny, cookie decorating, fun zones, and more. Wristbands and activity cards are required for some of the activities and can be purchased pre sale or at the event.

New 4-D Movie at Legoland

Legoland released its brand new 4-D movie called The LEGO Movie a new 4-D Adventure. The movie is a fun journey with Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unkitty, Benny and MetalBeard. They are invited to an opening of a new theme park where all the rides and attractions are based of characters in the Lego movie. Trouble starts as soon as they arrive at the park to find out it is not at Legoland but at a new theme park next to Legoland. Trouble pretty much starts as soon as they enter the park. Using elements such as wind, water, smoke and special lighting effects, the larger-than-life experience brings the film’s main characters, Emmet and Wyldstyle, back together with their friends for another awesome adventure.

Now open at LEGOLAND California Resort, “The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure” had its world premiere Jan. 28 at LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven, FL, and will be seen soon at all other LEGOLAND theme parks and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers worldwide in 2016.

In addition to “The LEGO Movie Sequel,” which opens May 18, 2018, two more LEGO feature films are on the way from Warner Bros.: the as-yet-untitled LEGO Batman™ movie opens Feb. 10, 2017 and “NINJAGO” is set to debut Sept. 22, 2017.

Why we Love our Learning Tower

The Learning Tower is a miracle tower perfect for children ages 18 months and up. It enables children to be at the height of the counter. It is the top rated kitchen helper step stool on the market. It is great for parents, grandparents, teachers, and chefs. The Little Partners Learning Tower is a tool that can serve your child for years, helping with everything. While its main use is to bring children to counter height, there are so many different uses for it. Great for children for washing their hands, brushing teeth, and many many more things! We have loved using ours, and so has Oliver, he loves being at counter height.

There are different stages for the different ages of your children, from 18 months to 2 years children are just starting to realize their own abilities. It is the perfect age for kids to start art projects, coloring, water colors, painting, and play dough.

Challenge your child’s gross motor skills. Children this age love to climb. Help your child climb in and out of their learning tower.
Help your child learn about food by letting them watch mom or dad prepare meals. Food is one of their favorite topics at this age.
Wash and dry hands with a bit of help from an adult. Children will enjoy their new independence.

Children ages 2 to 3 are starting to tune their motor skills. Oliver is 2 1/2 and we had fun making oatmeal cookies together. At this age children the Learning Tower is great for:

Let your child wash and dry their hands on their own
Let them brush their own teeth
Let them help wash dishes
Let them help prepare food – if you make them part of the process, they are more likely to eat what they make.
- Banana Slicing
- Spreading Jam or Butter on toast or crackers
- Washing fruit
Stimulate imagination and encourage creativity by introducing the playhouse kit or toy tower during play time

From ages 3 to 5 learn primarily through exploring with all the senses.

Encourage your child to practice drawing and writing letters on the art easel
Let them scoop/pour their own cereal
Let them use a whisk to make bubbles in a sink of water
Let them bathe their babydolls/action figures in the sink
Let them make homemade playdough
Let them help roll out and cut cookie dough
Let them help mix ingredients in a bowl
