New Years Eve at Legoland California is fun for children and parents. We enjoy taking our son to Legoland during the day as “Midnight” comes early. Midnight for families celebrating the new year together at Legoland can do so without missing their bedtimes. Legoland re-creates the Times Square ball drop with a giant LEGO brick falling 22 feet in the air, Grammy-nominated artists and special celebrity guest who will lead the countdown for San Diego’s largest Kids’ New Year’s Eve Party!
Join in the festivities with party hats and special glasses for viewing fireworks. The party concludes just in time for our countdown at 6 p.m. with a fireworks display illuminating the sky and providing a great ending to an amazing year.
There is still time to enjoy Legoland Snow days where you can build a snowman with lego accessories and throw real snowballs at colorful targets. Ride snow tubes down a hill, and brand new this year, Ice Skating! My son loves the snow tubes, he could spend all day doing just that! Witness the lighting of a 30-foot tall LEGO Christmas Tree and enjoy live entertainment with the Brickettes. A life-sized LEGO Brick Santa and Reindeer make the perfect family photo. Experience the magic of Winter Nights with shows, music, and twinkling lights. For more information about Legloand’s New Years Eve celebration visit their website here.
