Summer Movies Free @ Krikorian Vista

For the movie dates and times for the summer of 2014 click here. The Krikorian movie theater in Vista will once again host free kid’s movies throughout the Summer! Every Tuesday from June 18th through August 20th, all movies are rated PG with titles like The Lorax, Smurfs, Ice Age and Madagascar 3. The movies are at the perfect time and there are two showings a day, at 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM.

San Marcos Summer Movie Express $1 all summer!

Edwards Movie Theater in San Marcos has released the start date for the Summer Movie Express. The movies are all rated G or PG so the movies are great for kids of all ages and it is only $1 per person to attend. All of the movies begin at 10 AM on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays throughout the summer. Every week there are two different movies playing so the hardest decision will probably be which movie to see. The start date for movie theaters vary so I have listed the start dates below the list of movies. The list below is for California if you are outside of California you may find the f ull list here. Enjoy!

If you become a Regal Crown Club member (free to join) there are great perks and discounts. A great discount we always take advantage of is $2 popcorn on Tuesday’s for all Regal Crown Club members.

Rubio’s beach party free event

Rubio’s is hosting the second annual Beach Cleanup & Party to celebrate World Oceans Day 2013! The event will begin at 10 am and run until 2 pm on May 11th at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre, located at 200 N. The Strand in Oceanside. The beach cleanup will be from 10 am to 11 am with the party starting right after at 11 am.

There will be tons of fun for children and adults with free surf lessons, face painting, fun beach games and much more. Have I mentioned the free food and drinks yet? Did you also notice this is an event hosted by Rubio’s? Which means not only delicious food but free as well! What is better than that? Stick around for the live music provided by 94.9FM and Jet West, don’t miss the interactive Game Booth provided by GameStop as well! There really is something for everyone, free surf lessons for the beach bum, free face painting for the kids, free food for well everyone, and if you are a gamer stop by the GameStop booth.

SD Mom’s Night Out special offer!

SD Mom’s Night Out is an event I have been lucky enough to be apart of for a few years now and the Mother’s Day event is right around the corner. What mom do you know that doesn’t need a night out? We all need a night out every once in a while and SD Mom’s Night Out is its put on by local moms for local moms. Right now tickets are on sale buy one get one free! This year’s Mother’s Day event will be held on Thursday May 9th at Roppongi in La Jolla. Today I will be heading down to Roppongi to taste the menu for the event, I am thrilled as I have yet to try the La Jolla sushi and asian fusion restaurant.

The SD Mom’s Night Out Mother’s Day event will feature chocolate and wine pairings compliments of Chuao and Constellation, light appetizer fare, mini spa treatments with Evian Salon & Spa, a fun evening to mix and mingle with friends and much more. It’s all you need for a very happy Mother’s Day and celebrate National Mom’s Nite Out!

As with every event that SD Mom’s Night Out hosts there is a very worthy cause that will benefit and the foundation is The Promise Walk for Preeclampsia™ which supports the mission of the Preeclampsia Foundation. They provide patient support and education, raise public awareness, catalyze research and improve health care practices for millions of mothers and their babies every year who are impacted by preeclampsia and related hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
