Reading Cinemas has a fun summer movie schedule for children for only $1 per movie! There are special prices for concessions as well, Reel Kids soda is $1, Reel Kids popcorn is $2, Reel Kids hot dog $2, and select candies are $1.50. There are six participating locations: Grossmont Center 10 in San Diego, Town Square located on Clairemont Drive, The Tower Theater in Sacramento, Valley Plaza 12 in Bakersfield, Cal Oaks 17 in Murrieta, and Rohnert Park 16 in Rohnert Park. All movies are on Wednesday and Thursday throughout the summer and begin at 10:00 a.m.

Below is a list of the dates of the movies and which movie is playing. It is the same line up for every theater, enjoy!

Regal has released the schedule for the Summer Movie Express! The movies are all rated G/PG, and are great for kids of all ages. It is only $1 per person to attend! All of the movies begin at 10 AM on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays throughout the summer.  Every week there are two different movies playing for you to choose from. The start date for movie theaters vary so I have listed the start dates below the list of movies. If you live outside of California please click here for a full list.

The ANGRY BIRDS Movie is coming to theaters on May 20, 2016, my son has been waiting for this for wha seems like years! In the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we’ll finally find out why the birds are so angry.

The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis, We’re the Millers, Horrible Bosses), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad in his first animated role since Frozen), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride, This Is the End, Eastbound and Down) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

We are happy to announce we are giving away five family 4-pack of tickets to a SPECIAL PREVIEW on Saturday May 14th at AMC movie theaters in Mission Valley, CA.
