Legoland Tickets $20 on 4/29/12 only!

Community Day at Legoland California is to support The Kids College fund, a nonprofit organization.  On Sunday, April 29th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. you may visit Legoland for only $20 per person.  The cost is the same price for children and adults.  The tickets can not be purchased at Legoland, only at The Kid’s College office @ 570 Rancheros Drive, Suite 270, San Marcos, CA 92069.  The tickets may be purchased on Saturday 4/14 or Saturday 4/21 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.  If you have any questions please call (760) 798-4064.

Free Museum Tuesday

Are you full from Easter dinner, or all the candy?  I had to hide my son’s candy yesterday because it seemed like everyone who arrived at our house had a new present (aka candy) for him.  Today should be a beautiful day and are going to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad.  Tomorrow is the second Tuesday of the month and the following museums are free, enjoy!

The Easter Bunny is coming to town, please see below for the full list of Easter Egg Hunts listed for North San Diego County for 2012.  The list for the rest of San Diego is further down, I hope you and your children will be able to get out and enjoy one of these Easter Egg Hunts!  Happy Easter!

Solana Beach @ La Colonia Community Park – The Children’s Spring Festival & Egg Hunt will be held on April 7th from 10:30 am until noon, this is a FREE event.  The specified ages are 3rd grade and younger, don’t forget to bring a basket to load up with treat filled plastic eggs.  For more information visit the event website here.

Encinitas @ Ecke Sports Park – The Annual Easter Egg Hunt Festival & Summer Programs Preview will be held on April 7th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and is a FREE event.  There will be jump houses, face painting, crafts, prizes, and over 20,000 eggs!  The Egg Hunt times are specific to age:  10:15—2 years & under, 10:45—3 year-olds, 11:15—4 & 5 year olds, 11:45—6 & 7 year-olds, 12:15—8 & 9 year-olds.  For more information visit the City of Encinitas website here.

San Marcos @ Walnut Grove Park – The San Marcos Breakfast & Egg Hunt will be held on April 7th from 8:00 a.m. until noon with the egg hunt starting at 10:15 a.m.  The ages are from toddlers through 5th grade, the cost for breakfast is $5 for adults and $4 for children.  The Egg Hunt and carnival is a suggested donation of $5 per family.  There will be free craft projects, carnival games, party jumps, and you can even have your picture taken with  Peter Cottontail!  For more information visit the event website here.

San Elijo Hills – The San Elijo Hills Community Association is having its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31st. This year’s event will include an Egg Hunt for children 10 years and under. The BUNNYPALOOZA will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run until 12:00 p.m.  The Egg Hunt at 10:30AM sharp, you will not want to miss the Bunny Palooza!

Fallbrook @ The Fallbrook Community Center – The Fallbrook Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt will be held on April 7th starting at 7:30 a.m. with the egg hunt beginning at 10:30 a.m.  Breakfast will be served by firefighters and is $4 for adults and $2 for children.  There will be games for the kids and the egg hunt is arranged by age group.  For more information visit the event website here.

Ocean Beach @ Robb Athletic Field & OB Recreation Center – 37th Annual Spring Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday April 7th beginning at 10:00 a.m and running until 11:30 a.m.   There will be six different egg hunts separated by age, they ask you please bring your own basket.  Robb Athletic Field is located at 2525 Bacon St., San Diego, CA, 92107.

Clairemont Area – There are 4 different Easter Egg Hunt locations for Clairemont with different times and dates.  On Saturday, March 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at South Clairemont Rec. Center @ 3605 Clairemont Drive, San Diego 92117.  Also on Saturday, March 31st from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Tecolote Rec. Center located @ 4675 Tecolote Road, San Diego, 92110.  Friday April 6th from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Cadman Rec. Center located @ 4280 Avati Drive, San Diego, 92117.  Saturday April 7th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at north Clairemont Rec. Center @ 5155 Gerrenbrier Avenue, San Diego, 92120 –  The Spring Egg Hunt will be held on March 31st from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  There will be face painting, jump  houses, crafts and refreshments will be available.  The Egg Hunt is split into age groups as follows: 3 years and Under 11:30 a.m., 4 – 6 years 11:50 a.m., SURPRISE PERFORMANCE 12:10 p.m., 7 – 9 years 12:30 p.m., 10 – 12 years 12:50 p.m., and 13 years and Up 1:10 p.m.  For more information click here.

Willie Henderson Sports Complex @ 1035 South 45th Street, San Diego – The Twilight Egg Hunt will be held on Thursday, April 5th at 5:00 p.m. sharp!  Bring your baskets to fill with prizes, candy and of course Easter Eggs!  The egg hunt is for children ages 3 to 12, for more information on this free eventclick here.

South Bay @ Robert Egger Sr. South Bay Rec. Stanley Park & Rec. Center @ 3585 Governor Drive, San Diego – The Spring Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 7th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  The Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.!  Children will be divided by age groups so arrive at least 15 minutes before 10:00 a.m.  There will be face painting, egg decorating, arts & crafts, inflatable jumpers and more.  For more information click here.
