TGIF Summer Concert lineup announced |
Exciting news! Carlsbad summer concert series returns this July with performances at parks throughout the city. TGIF Concerts in the Parks is San Diego County’s longest-running free outdoor concert series presented by a city and one of Carlsbad’s favorite summer traditions. These concerts combine great music for all ages in the setting of our beautiful parks. We’re excited to bring together friends, families and neighbors to enjoy music right here in Carlsbad. Here is the lineup of shows coming to our parks this summer: |

July 7 at Stagecoach Community Park: Band Overboard (Yacht Rock)The smooth grooves, four part harmony vocals, killer guitar solos, and overall lush, full sound will take you back to the late 70s/early 80s. |
July 14 at Stagecoach Community Park: B.I.G. (R&B, Soul & Funk)B.I.G. (Brothers Igniting A Groove) performs a mix of R&B, smooth jazz and old school funk, including covers and original music. |
July 21 at Poinsettia Community Park: Young Guns (Country)This band plays all of the best country songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s through today. |
July 28 at Calavera Hills Community Park: Jungle Fire (Afro/Latin/Funk)An Afro/Latin Funk band creating a melting pot of Afro-Caribbean and West African rhythms with a heavy break beat funk. |
August 4 at Alga Norte Community Park: Betamaxx (1980s)A high-energy, nostalgia-filled rock concert that keeps the dance floor packed from beginning to end with an 80s music experience. |
August 11 at Alga Norte Community Park: The FABBA Show (A Tribute to ABBA)An homage to pop sensation ABBA that will take you on a glittery, sparkling, and truly magical journey back to the disco and the 70s. |

Have a seatBring a low back chair and bug spray (just in case). Service animals welcomeLeave pets at home. Parking is limitedConsider walking, biking, or having someone drop you off at the park.
