Adams Avenue Unplugged @ Adams from Texas St. on the West, on through Normal Heights and into parts of Kensington to the East.  If you enjoy live music this is the event for you!  With over 160 live performances over this two-day event on three community stages and in more than 30 restaurants. Oceanside Days of Art @ Pier View Way – This is the 20th annual Oceanside Days of Art and it is a FREE family festival with over 120 local artists.  There will be many different types of art from paintings, sculptures, stained glass, ceramics, fine jewelry, photography and more.  There are free hands on activities for everyone to partake in, as well as a variety of food choices.  This even will be held on both Saturday and sunday, for more information visit the event website here.

San Diego Earth Fair @ Balboa Park – The world’s largest annual environmental fair and Earth Day Celebration, in its 23rd year!  The event will be held at Balboa Park from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  This s great for kids as there is a special children’s activity area with crafts, games, face painting, and hands-on activities.  The Earth Fair will have three different stages for entertainment, a Children’s Stage, Moon Stage and Folk Music Stage.  For more information on this event visit the website here.

Multi-Cultural Fair & Parade @ Linda Vista– The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. and will feature marching bands, and many different clubs taking part.  The Kids Zone will feature a magician, clown, hat making, bounce house, giant puzzle, arts & crafts and much more.  There will be an international food court including Egyptian, Filipino, Mexican, Thai, Chinese and American food to try.  There will also be a carnival zone with rides for kids and big kids alike.  For more information visit the event website here.

Free Crafts for Kids @ Lakeshore Learning – Lakeshore Learning free crafts for kids is from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  The craft this week is a ‘Little Garden Apron, kids will decorate their own real aprons with a special Earth Day Theme.  For more information visit Lakeshore Learning website here.

Chicano Park Day Celebration – The 42nd annual Chicano Park Day celebration will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in historic Chicano Park, located in the Barrio Logan community, south of downtown San Diego, under the San Diego-Coronado bridge.
