Don’t miss Legoland Community Day $25!

by

Death StarA month ago we were the first to let you know about the amazing offer Legoland hosts for our local community! Legoland Resort in Carlsbad, California will have the annual Community Day in April, it is only $25 for entrance to Legoland and $9 for Sea Life Aquarium. This is a once a year event so be sure to take advantage of this very special offer by Legoland.  All specially priced tickets for this Community Day are sold only through Kid’s College, and may be used only on April 26th.

All ticket orders must be received by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 22, 2015.  Kid’s College asks that you allow 3 days to receive your tickets and check your email for your tickets. Tickets will be emailed from tickets@thekidscollege.org. They also ask that you please check your spam folder if you do not receive your tickets 72 hours after placing your order and paying for your tickets.

While visiting don’t miss the newest addition to the Star Wars Miniland the Death Star! The Death Star is 8-fee wide, over 13-fee high and weights more than 1,900 pounds! We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at a media preview earlier this week and we loved it! My son loves anything lego and Star Wars so it was pretty much a win win for us. The cool death star has a super laser which lights up with green lights when zeros in on its target. It is made out of 500,000 lego bricks and includes the trench run scene where Luke Skywalker maneuvers through with his X-wing fighter, see below.

Kid’s College will be having the Community Day at LEGOLAND on Sunday April 26, 2015 from 12:00- 8:00pm. Tickets are only valid on April 26th from 12 noon to 8 p.m. For more information on Legoland Community Day click here.

Giveaway – San Diego Kids Expo & Fair

san diego KIDS fEST

Join SoCal Savvy Mom at one of our favorite events the ever popular San Diego Kids Expo & Fair! There is always so much to do for the entire family, my son is looking forward to the laser tag! SD Kids Expo has everything for kids including music, dance, sports demos, games, cooking classes, plus so much more at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26.

This year the San Diego Kids Expo is bigger than ever before. Which means more fun for you and your kids! They have also added a Playland that is set up just for the little kids ages 2 to 10 years. The Playland will have mini laser tag, carnival games, and my son’s favorite the bubble suits! One of my favorite things about the Playland that is new this year is everything inside is FREE with only a $5 admission fee.

kids expo

The expo has not forgotten about the parents, there are over 200 booths about fitness, sports, health and nutrition, learning devices, safety products, natural products, summer camps and much more. It is not too early to start planning for the kids summer camps, they book up super fast so get a head start at the San Diego Kids Expo.

This really is an interactive experience not to be missed. All throughout the San Diego Kids Expo & Fair are things to do like a 200’ long Zip Line and a Euro Bungee where 4 kids can jump on trampolines. Kids can climb the coconut tree and play laser tag. NEW this year is the GryoXtreme a new ride designed for two riders and is just like the ones used by NASA for astronaut training. Face painting, remote control cars, and 2 electric trains have the kids busy doing fun interactive activities all weekend. We hope to see you there!
